NLENDEIT

Why does TROVET not make a difference in age, considering food for guinea pigs?

The difference in nutritional requirements of guinea pigs in the three different age categories is minimal. The difference can easily be compensated by adjusting the available amount of food. When formulating the food, the aim was to prevent health problems which occur at a later age were, such as kidney insufficiency. Guinea pigs have, in contrast to cats and dogs, no joint problems and thus did not have to be taken into account when formulating the diet.
